Roles & access
Administrators, members, and clients — who can see projects, leave feedback, and manage the workspace.
rewish workspaces use three inviteable roles. Projects are private by default.
Roles
| Role | In the UI | Capabilities |
|---|---|---|
| Administrator | Includes the hidden owner seat | Full workspace: users, settings, all projects, billing (owner only for delete / billing edge cases) |
| Member | Member | Needs project membership to see a project; can edit issues on assigned projects |
| Client | Client | Needs project membership; view + comment; feedback goes to Feedback; uses the portal |
There is exactly one owner per workspace. They appear as an Administrator and cannot be invited as “owner” from the UI.
Project access
- Administrators always have access to every project
- Members and Clients must be added to the project (project people / invites)
- Mentions and notifications only reach people who still have project access
Where people work
| Role | Typical surfaces |
|---|---|
| Administrator / Member | Projects, Websites, Feedback, Board, Widget, Integrations |
| Client | Client portal and the embeddable widget on assigned sites |
Inviting people
Workspace administrators open Users, invite by email, and choose a role. Then grant project access where needed.
