Feedback
How client and guest feedback is triaged before it reaches the task board.
Feedback is the intake lane for reports from clients, guests, and public widget visitors. Team members’ captures usually go straight to the board.
This mirrors BugHerd: Feedback is the inbox; the board is execution.
Who lands in Feedback?
| Submitter | Destination |
|---|---|
| Anonymous / guest (widget) | Feedback |
| Workspace Client | Feedback |
| Member / Administrator | Board (default column, usually Backlog) |
Using the Feedback page
Open Feedback in the project sidebar.
- Review new items (title, reporter)
- Click a row to open the issue peek
- Move to board sends the issue to Backlog (you can change status afterward)
- From the issue status menu you can also choose Feedback or any board column
Board vs Feedback
| Feedback | Board | |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Triage | Delivery |
| Columns | Single intake status | Backlog → Todo → Doing → Review → Done |
| Default for guests/clients | Yes | After accept |
Feedback is not shown as a kanban column on the board. It stays on its own page so the board stays focused on work in progress.
Integrations
When auto-creating remote tasks:
- Guest / public issues can use Asana’s guest section (if configured)
- After an item is on the board, status ↔ section mappings apply as usual
See Asana.
